Gaëtan Bruel took on his role as Cultural Counselor of the French Embassy in the United States on September 3, 2019.

His topic tonight: “Is ‘la francophilie’ in the US dead or alive?” was a fascinating review of Americans’ passion for France, but also a wake-up call to changing attitudes and the need to reinforce these longstanding bonds.
